Welcome to East Nashville Magnet Middle School. We are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School dedicated to developing students who are competent, caring, and courageous citizens with a mind toward improving their local community and beyond. As a learning community, we believe that our students are “right now” leaders who take on challenges with enthusiasm and persevere to achieve high academic standards.
Through the IB Middle Years Program, students take ownership of their learning by engaging in research, analyzing data, reflecting on their personal practices, and applying their knowledge to solve community needs. An integration of AVID practices and social-emotional learning standards help students make connections between their academic performance and responsible decision-making.
